Barton-under-Needwood is situated just off the A38 between BURTON ON TRENT and LICHFIELD.


To John Taylor High School (Friday nights) - Map
  1. From the A38, B5016 Barton-under-Needwood / Walton-on-Trent exit :-
    Take the B5016 westwards, following signs to Barton-under-Needwood. Pass the Three Horseshoes pub' on your left, and take the next road on the right (Dunstall Road), note the Shoulder Of Mutton makes the corner on your right hand side. The school entrance is 50yds along Dunstall Road on the right. Go through the school gates and continue straight ahead to the large sports hall. Park beside the hall & proceed to the rear entrance behind the hall (facing the sports field).
  2. From the east (Yoxall, A515 direction) :-
    Drive eastwards on the B5016 through the village, passing the Red Lion and Middle Bell pub's on your right. In 250yds take the left turn into Dunstall Road, the Shoulder Of Mutton makes the corner on the left hand side. The school entrance is 50yds further on the right. Go through the school gates and continue straight ahead to the large sports hall. Park beside the hall & proceed to the rear entrance behind the hall (facing the sports field).

To Barton Village Hall (Monday and Wednesday nights) - Map
  1. From the A38, Barton / Walton-on-Trent exit :-
    As (1) above into the village. On entering the village, pass the Three Horseshoes on your left, continue into the village. Immediately after the pedestrian crossing, opposite the Middle Bell pub on your left, take the narrow lane (Crowberry Lane) sto your right which runs alongside the Post Office. The village hall and car-park are 20yds along this lane on your left.
  2. From the east (Yoxall, A515 direction) :-
    As (2) above into the village. Drive through the village passing the Red Lion on your right. Immediately before the pedestrian crossing opposite the Middle Bell pub' on your right, take the narrow lane to your left which runs alongside the Post Office. The village hall and car-park are 20yds along there on your left.

Alternatively, use an internet map service to get to Barton. The two halls we play in are just off the Main Street in the centre of the village.
